24th March Event Cancelled
It is with great regret that we have to announce the cancellation of Run Rectory Wood on 24th March 2019.
Events such as this rely heavily on a high volume of entries to fund things such as chip timing, medals and venue expenses.
Unfortunately we haven’t received enough entries to put on an event that would meet the expectations of the entrants.
From the feedback we have received, it seems to be mostly due to clashes with other large races and spring marathon training.
All entrants have been notified by email and full refunds issued.
We are considering alternative dates later in the year that do not clash with other large events, as we think it would be such a shame to not hold an event in such a great location. Full details will follow in due course.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of the event and our vision. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by our decision and hope you understand our reasoning.
